We will have bbq for lunch. Fishbait is going to cook up some nice pork butt for us. So we will need someone to bring drinks, desserts, sauce, buns, ice, and sides like potato salad and baked beans. Please reply to this thread what you are bringing so we can coordinate.
Hiya, You know me....I'll get the desert! Also, for those that don't know this...Kevin gives members a 20% discount on livestock and frozen food!!!! This is the highest discount of all our local sponsor stores!!!!
I'm going to have my hands full with coral and stuff but I can grab something if you guys need me to. Just let me know by Friday night please.
What are the corals being fragged this Saturday. I got a message and lost it. War Favia? Zooanthids? Are we going to dip them there? If not, I will need some info on dipping so I can get mine done right! ;-)
Always, always, always dip your coral regardless who you get them from but no we will not be dipping them at the meeting. Zoas, Favia (war and otherwise), Acan Echinata, Leptoseris
Like John mentioned. We always recommend dipping corals. We will definitely discuss this at the workshop on SATURDAY.
Thanks gentlemen. I got the message solid at last meeting regarding dipping. Just gotta locate supplies and get a better understanding of what it entails.
I don't know for a fact but I assume our host LFS may sell it. If you are talking Furan 2 to treat zoas for zoa pox or fungus, most freshwater stores sell it. If you are talking coral dip for pets, most saltwater stores sell it. If you want to get a little more risky and you are willing to possibly lose some coral you can look up the Bayer method.
Hiya, Kevin has probably one box of Furan 2 and he does sell a dip, I just can't remember which one. Usually he only has a few bottles.
Hiya, Okay guys, this is going to be a pretty skimpy if folks don't step up. So far this is what we have: Fishbait, main course, BBQ David Harrington: Drinks Kim Ettleman: Desert LJ: Paper Towels. We need plates, chips, buns, silverwear (plastic) and other side items!
