Hey everyone I am looking into switching salt mixes. I have been using Fritz RPM salt mix for 3 years and I am thinking about switching to Tropic marin pro reef salt for the new 180 and the frag tank in the other room. Just wanted to see what everyone else uses? Any advise would be great!

I’ve just started using tropic marin. I like it so far. I think it leaves a lot less residue in mixing containers than rpm.

What parameters does it mix to Bo? I've had problems with Fritz having a very high Mg. Now I'm having a similar problem with my Brightwell Neomarine

Interested in that also. I checked my 60 and my alk after a water change dropped from 11.5 to 9.8

After getting the 180 all set up and going I have used Tropic marin pro reef and cant be happier with the results! The corals are growing like weeds so that must mean they are happy!
