I am very interested in going to this event I just missed the first one in Chicago. I think it is a great new way to look at how a show should be fun and enjoying and seeing things in a new exciting way!
I was around the chicago area during the first one but I was too busy with visiting family. I only plan to try and attend one show this year. St.Louis, MO will have one on the 3/23 and Catossa, OK will be 4/13. Hmph, which one to attend...
Went to one a couple years ago with John it’s was well worth the drive. You can really get some good deals when it gets closer to the end.
This one will be cool because its fresh and salt plus an immersive black light art show. From what I can understand anyways!
Just noticed that this is not only fish and art, looks like they are going to have reptiles as well. That is exciting and also worrisome for my bank account because I like all of them!
I meant to post on this before, and I know it's late now. But here are pics I took of some of the artwork from the 2019 Dallas Aquashella. The one in 2020 is supposed to be in an even bigger place which is great since we got there 30 mins early and stood in line outside for 45 minutes just to get inside because of how many people came. (They let VIP in first). When we left there was a HUGE line still waiting to get in stretched all the way to the parking lot. It was a great event though. Lots of marine venders. Some freshwater, and even reptiles/terrariums.
I am definitely gonna try to make this one, and of course make my rounds to every fish store in a 20 mile radius . Have you heard anything on the Tulsa event (Tornado Alley reef expo)? It is smaller from what I understand but because it is in a casino there are no pictures of the event.
On reef2reef, it's listed for the 4th of april. If that's correct, I plan to go. I'll be setting up a QT tank this weekend in preparation of frags.
*Update on 2020 event* Didn't see it posted elsewhere but it looks like the Dallas show has been rescheduled for October 31st and November 1st, 2020 at the Dallas Market Hall. Anyone interested in going?
