    Hiya,

I love the clove polyps!!!! Unfortunately, I'd probably kill them. Zoa's are doing to well in my tank. I can grow paly's though.

    Hiya,

I actually killed all my star polyps when I started dosing Mg....got it up pretty high before I realized it.

How high Kim? I 'd be really surprised if high magnesium killed GSP. People routinely raise magnesium to 1600-1700 to fight bryopsis without any deleterious effects.

    Hiya,

It was over 1600. That was the only thing that I'd changed when they died off.

    Kim,

Did you check for a pest? Did they have a brown film on them prior to disappearing? Did you lose all of your zoas or just some?

    Hiya,

No, I didn't check for pests. I just have a horrible time focusing on small things even with my new glasses. It'd just seemed weird that the star polyps just vanished after I got my Mg so high.

My bad, I thought you lost zoas. GSP is a different story. Do you have a Peppermint or Camel Shrimp?

    Matt,

What do you want for the VDMs?

    Hiya,

John, I did loose some zoa's, but all my GSP's went away. Nope, no shrimp in this tank. The green Coriss wrasse would have them for lunch.
