I'm looking to build a 6' x 2' x 2' plywood tank using pond shield. Does anyone have info on what sort of specs the glass will need to be, and possibly plans+sizes for the wood? Just looking to build the tank right now, I will buy stuff gradually until i can finish everything.

I built a 10' x 2' x 3' plywood tank. I used 1/2" tempered starphire glass, which worked well. I think you could get away with 1/2" non-tempered, but if I were to do it again, I'd use 3/4, non-tempered starphire. I have a marineland 300 gallon that's about 28" tall, and it only uses 1/2" glass. For the epoxy, I used this: http://www.soundspecialtycoatings.com/brewcoat-info.htm
It was cheaper than pond-shield, and I was quite happy with it. Tank was running for 8 years with no issues. Only took it down because I moved.
