I have a new stick in the oven. Actually I have a few but I have one in the oven and 2 more on deck. So, with that said, here is the stick. David Martin says I have a blue thumb, let's find out together. BTW Doc, this one is supposed to turn blue and it has the same coralites as my really blue Tenuis. I believe the other 2 on deck are Tenuis' too. John
I likey! Did you get a piece of that stag at the last meeting? If what color is it for you? The white tips are starting to turn blue for me!
I did get a piece. I brought it home, fragged a few small pieces off of it, and put it in different places in the tank. Nothing has changed but I only have PE on one of them. Ironically it is on the piece in the least amount of light.
Hiya, Nice blue color! My piece of stage from the last meeting is still a dark brown. Though, I do still have it on the bottom of the tank. Waiting to cycle the nano and move some rock before I place them somewhere. Kim/Benton, AR
Doc the frag I got is turning a blue color also! you'll laugh at the "frag" I mounted on one of the plugs its the whole big chunk we each got. I also am doing something right in the tank because my other sps frags that have just maintained a brown are turning electric green I'm getting the hang of this sps stuff......Finally
Doc, The growth spurt just started on that club coral. I have put on 1/8- 1/4 inch this month on several new growth tips
It has been 2 months since I first posted this and I have to show you guys this. The growth is unbelievable.
You better watch your Ca and Alk! Their dosing needs will be rising if your SPS keeps growing like that!
A decent month. It looks like the most growth came from the branch on the right closest to the rock. No zoom 1.5 zoom
I forgot to do a January update. I took picture, I just forgot to post them on here. These are from January 7th.
