MACNA 2017 (New Orleans)

I know there has been some talk of some members road tripping to MACNA next August, so I thought I'd start a thread for discussion. The reason I posted so early is that if you want to stay at the venue where the conference is, it's a good idea to go ahead and book a room now. You can always cancel up to 72 hrs prior to the reservation with no charge. The MACNA venue usually fills up quickly and it's typically at a nice location, with the exception of the San Diego venue. Hi all! We are thrilled to host MACNA 2017 in New Orleans! It's great to see so much enthusiasm here too. My name is Greg and I am one of the directors of Bayou Reefkeeping. I founded the club in March of 2011 along with a few others and we have been full steam ahead ever since to bring MACNA to New Orleans. We host an annual show called Fragniappe and we have enjoyed it a great deal the past three years. Next year it will be the fourth annual Fragniappe in March and MACNA at the end of August!
