I purchased this Neon Wrasse from LiveAquaria.com to eat flatworms that came in on a frag. It has eaten all the flatworms. It also loves to eat Larry's Reef Frenzy and pellet food. Now it's out grown my display! I want to keep smaller fish. I uploaded a picture. It's a gorgeous, healthy fat fish. I'm willing to trade for coral. Thanks!
Oh man. I wish I had a suitable tank for it. That guy's on his way to being beautiful. They are also called Yellow Head wrasse. Very common in the Caribbean.
This picture doesn't do him justice. His fins are rimmed electric blue. Each yellow scale is bordered orange. The gill covers are lemon yellow. His eyes are light green. He recognizes my face and begs for food but puffs up at strangers. He is friendly with his fish-mates too.
They are gorgeous. I just have too many peaceful wrasse to be ok with this guy. Here's a picture of two males duking it out I took last year.
I currently have 4, a goby, 2 clowns, and a tang(which is doing Amazing now) Im currently looking to change my substrate to a softer sand, than crushed coral.
If JB isn't interested, I am. I have a 160 gallon with peaceful tank mates. The only question is whether he'd be OK with a smaller 6 line wrasse I already have.
Hi. Sorry, Justin, I didn't see this post. I can trade or best offer. BTW I put a ruler up to the glass. He's closer to five not six inches. Message me through you inbox if you're still interested. The email notifications seem to be more reliable that way. ?
