So I had my 60g tank with my powder brown tang. Then after a little bit I moved him to a 120 and he's been doing great. But the last week he hasn't been swimming actively like normal. He stays close to the sand bed. I woke up one night and this rash had developed. It looks like he's peeling. So I immediately put him in a hospital tank not knowing what to do. Any idea what this is.

@Botheboss i had copper treated the 120 which is a fish only tank. And none other fish are showing any symptoms. Sadly the tang died in the quarantine.

Yeah I've never had a fish recover from that. Not much you can do

Once they get that bad it's very difficult to save them. If you start treating when they become lethargic/avoiding light/etc. there is a chance to save them but velvet is a stone cold killer.
