Anemone in the intake?

Yesterday, I woke to my new bubble tip anemone in the filter intake tube. I immediately got the BTA out, but had no idea if it was going to make it. I did a massive water change and put a little more Carbon in the filter, keeping a close eye on it throughout the day. This morning, it looks okay, at least from what I can see. It’s oral disc is facing the dirt and 1/10th of the foot is attached to one tiny spot on a rock. The tentacles look so much better than yesterday, they’re more inflated than anything it had last night before bed. It’s even responding to small stimuli and I think it’s trying to attach to the rock. I plan to do another water change, but is there anything else I need to do? After Franny got stuck in the intake tube, I put some pieces of a powder-free vinyl glove to block off the tube a bit and staunch the flow of the filter, it’s all I had. I’ll replace it with something better if anyone has any suggestions.

With power heads most people use some type of foam cover. I don't know about what you could do with your set up. Can you post a picture of the intake?

I found a filter intake cover that was on a freshwater filter that I dismantled for storage. It fits perfectly over this intake. In the picture the intake is on the front left corner. The anemone has attached to a rock and is looking soooooo much better, so I think Franny is going to make it. I want to make sure that I’m doing everything I can since it was my mistake that hurt my anemone. And...first post of my tank!! (Oh the anxiety):)
