As most of you know my SPS tank is a complete loss. Now that almost every coral is dead I can do some rearranging and thinning. This will be the rebuild thread.

20171119_152744.jpg I called it quits for today. I think this is enough damage for 1 afternoon.

This is the page I get when I click to view the attachment. The other post shows up I assume because the pic is full size?

I have no problem viewing the pictures.

If you upload to Imgur (or other hosting site) and link them through the little "mountain scene" icon they will be embedded full size in the post.

I aways upload directly and just select “full image” to add it into the text.

How do you upload directly? You can do that on R2R which uses the same platform but you do it through the same click you use for a URL.

Oops, never mind. I see it next to the post reply button! Thanks for the heads up.

I always use my phone too ... so that may be part of the problem.

Huge news! Well, I think it is. I was messing around in this tank today and found a small piece of my Pink Smoothie Monti. No idea how it survived the crash but it is growing well and encrusted its base quite nicely. Now I just need it to start branching. Pink Smoothie is one of the rarest Montipora Digitata's on the market. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to see it growing back right where I lost it. SOOOOOOO COOL!

Both of my Red Monti Caps are coming back. They have 2 different Polyp types/patterns (that is why I have 2). My Montipora Spongodes is growing back with a vengeance right now too. It is growing so fast that I am already contemplating selling frags of it so I can buy more coral. Regardless, I feel all of these are stronger than they once were. Super strains if you will lol.

Here is one of the very few articles that discuss the Pink Smoothie. People who have never seen Pink Smoothie confuse it with Red Digi. It is like people confusing Forrest Fire Digi with Bubblegum Digi. When you see them both together you can see the difference. I kept mine 3 or 4 inches away from my Red Digitata so people could see them both in my tank.

  16. Ok first of all how did not see this thread before LOL. Super excited about the pink smoothie. You will be overloaded and looking for more space before you know it. Mr Blue Thumb
