I put 4 new bulbs in the used fixture purchased with my tank. The fixture works great when upside down, but in the correct position gravity does its thing and two of the bulbs can't seem to maintain contact or something is loose in the wiring or possibly just too much salt on the contacts of this old fixture. I'm not good with diy or fixing things. Lights have been used appx 10 hours. After fussing with it, I finally gave in and bought a new fixture. 2 bulbs are 24 watt actinic blue. 2 bulbs are 24 watt aqua blue+. Anyone need them? Please make an offer. Let me know if you have a diy need for the fixture too. It's designed to rest on a 30 and 1/8th inch tank. But if you can back the screws out, it appears to be an adjustable fit. This might be a good fit for someone's hospital tank or qt tank. The fixture itself worked great, timing and programable. I was tired of having to fiddle with the two lights to get good contact.
I would love to try to get it working. I have been looking for a used T5 fixture for my future frag tank
