Picked up this acro at DD. After acclimation and dipping I placed him on the bottom. Immediately had good PE. How long should I take to move him up to his final spot high in the tank?

    Hiya,

Damn...that's a nice coral. What does DD stand for? I'd like to look at their stuff.

I don't know how everyone else does it. I usually wait about a week then move about half way up from my final destination than wait another week. I do know this, don't let polyp extension fool you. Great acro, is that a purple bonsai

DD is Diver's Den section of Liveaquaria. Great stuff there. That's where I got my hogfish, yellowtail reef chromis and tailspot blenny.

For sure. Had 'em look great the first day and go to pot, but I'd rather they open up quickly than not. It was listed as Acropora secale, maricultured. Thanks for the tip. I was thinking along that line. I also cut my light intensity by 20% too.

Diver's Den (part of Dr's Foster and Smith/Live Aquaria) has great livestock. I wish they didn't require immediate shipping as several times I've lost things to someone else because of it.
