Just wandering if anyone has ordered fish from here before. I ordered a couple biota tank raised mandarins last night and paid for 2nd day air. Haven’t received anything offering a tracking number or expected shipping date yet. I did place the order around 7 last night tho

    Did you ever hear anything?

If you aren't successful with Algae Barn, you can now order fish directly from Biota. They are now selling to hobbyists, not just dealers.

Still haven’t received anything yet, no shipping info or even a email from the farm

By the shipment break down since I ordered it Sunday afternoon it was supposed to be on the road by Monday night at the latest should of been here yesterday. Just kinda aggravating since they’ve already taken the money out and still nothing

I would give them a call and see what's up. Which mandarin species did you order?

Biota says they are in stock and Algae Barn drop ships them from Biota so that shouldn't be the problem!

Which biota farm? I still don’t have anything regarding the order toy so probably about to cancel and go straight to the source

Glad to hear they finally responded. This is the web site for ordering from Biota. Got my eye on a Cuban gramma for my nano tank.

This is what I've heard...it takes too long for them to grow out to a more reasonable size so they usually are very small.

Yes they are very small which unfortunately with anthias idk how well that will mix, from what I’ve seen bigger fish tend to steer away as far as eating them because of the poisonous mucus they secrete just seeing the size of the female i will definitely be stressing

I keep it fed daily, but that thing definitely has a appetite
