I'm interested in knowing what chemicals I need for corals and the parameters I need to stay in. I currently dose only PH buffer and Calcium...I have a Red Sea Max 130D with T5 65Watt Actinic Lights only. <<-- I've heard and read the actinic is the light spectrum that reaches the deeper spectrum therefore corals grow better. I have polyps and leather something of rather and they're growing great so there's some truth to this theory. Also, a biologist that owns the fish store in Hot Springs got me hooked on this idea.

Please let me know what you think on the first question and feel free to comment on the lighting as well.

    Thanks,

    Eric

The lights should be fine with what you're growing, and if you do regular water changes, there shouldn't be a need to dose chemicals at all.
