This years Corals for Charity event will be in May. I don't know the dates yet but I am pretty sure it will be at the same spot. Seriously guys, you want to go to this frag swap. What is a frag swap you ask? It is basically like a saltwater trade show. A frag swap is a bunch of vendors from all over the US, set up in a conference room or some other venue selling corals. I dont know who is lined up for this year but last year was awesome. Imagine walking in to a hotel conference room and having company's like Fraghouse Corals, Cherry Corals, Prestige World Wide, Worlds Underwater, Zoanthids dot com, etc all set up with tanks and selling there goodies. There is a lot of awesome corals at smoking prices. I went last year and had a blast. Jen and I drove there after work on Friday night We woke up Saturday morning, bought a bunch of coral, and chatted with a bunch of fish geeks just like us. We finished off our afternoon by checking out the Oklahoma Aquarium. It was a blast. I highly recommend going.

@Botheboss yes it is. But like I said it is totally worth it. So far there are 10 vendors signed up and I have an approximate date. I should have more info by meeting time on Saturday.

Jenks Oklahoma to be exact. Last year it was held in the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Jenks. Google maps says 4 hrs 3 min away from Little Rock.

I was there last year as well. It's well worth the drive. If I'm not mistaken you got early bird rights for staying at the hotel? I probably should have done that since a lot of good stuff always gets bought out pretty quickly.

The raffles were pretty good, I managed to win quite a bit. The auctions for the charity are also pretty awesome, you can get a ton of pieces for some good prices. I'm not sure who it was but someone brought a ton of fish and sold them at ridiculously low prices. If I had 135 gallon long, I would have bought out all those anthias myself.

The vendors bring all sorts of corals. Ranging from your low tier quality corals all the way to high-end $100-200 pieces. The swap isn't just purely high end stuff.

A vendor also sold a lot of saltwater goods, lab like goods. Was looking for a 24" pipet and managed to get one there for a couple dollars.

    Its worth the drive.

If I have tank space left by April/May, I'll more than likely try to go.

Well it doesn't look like we are going to be able to go after all. :-/ probably for the best as I really don't need to be spending more money on corals right now anyway! Still trying to find a good spot for all that I have!

Have fun! Feel free to bring back surprises! ;-)

I wish, I'll be tied up with family all weekend. My next event will most likely be MACNA unless I drop in on a local swap. The kids will be out of school shortly and that will take up most of my free time.

Thank you @Botheboss From JF we picked up that grafted SPS that looked half red half black and the other Speed Bomb. The dude that sold you the Bubblegum is going to cut me a frag and bring it to MACNA for me.

That guy had some killer prices. I got that WD for pretty cheap although it's not really colored up like the one jf had but I ask him what he wanted for it and $500 was a lil to high lol
