Idk maybe keeping finicky fish? Solving algae or cyano issues? Maybe keeping sps? What do you think doc?
I would second any of those. In my short tenure in this hobby I have encountered a couple of finnicky fish, my fair share of algae and cyano, as well as my initial endeavour into SPS.
Can we throw in some fish disease treatment talk maybe? I'm about to start TTM and/or chloroquine treatments ... maybe some of the main dos and don'ts that we may not know about ... (i.e. Not using chloroquine for wrasses, etc ... )
I would definitely like someone to tell me how to solve my algae issues! How about a very brief talk about TTM and CP (there are very good resources for those on several web sites)and then discuss finicky fish? Kind of related?
Everyone has that problem. I been dealing with some hair algae and shifted to cyano. Constant fight lol
Tank came with some bubble algae. Thought I removed it all but it's popped back up in several places over time. Got an emerald crab but I haven't seen him since I put him in and no less bubble algae. Even had an astraea snail cruising along eating regular algae off of the bubble algae. It's like it was just polishing it because once it was done the bubbles were nice and shiny. Lol
It sure seems like the conditions that favor cyano are whatever conditions don't favor algae! Get rid of one, get the other.
Yeah exactly! Been doing 40g wc weekly and run gfo. Not much more I can do. I just stir it up every couple days. Prolly alil of the new tank syndrome still.
