I ran into a fellow reefer a few weeks back and got into the discussion of how to mix up kalkwasser for higher yeild. The guy mentioned using vinegar mixed in to break down the kalkwasser alot easier.
My question is does anybody see issues with using this?

Hmmm. Are you changing the pH and that increases the solubility of the kalk? How much vinegar? I dose 2 part so I don't have any experience with kalk. Be interesting to see what the chemists here say.

I honestly think it's counter productive.

I know some people use it as a carbon source so it could potentially raise nitrates and phosphates.

Palytoxin, did you just make that up?
