Feather dusters...what are your experiences?

  1. image.jpg I love feather dusters and brought home a pretty one today. I'd love to know about your experiences?

What do they like as far as water movement and flow?

What are your experiences in caring for them?

Mine is a sabellid, sand buried.

I've had a Coco worm for over 2 years. I'd always heard how hard they were to care for but this guy has been in my nano for over a year of that time with less than perfectly stable parameters. I kept mine in moderate flow and on the bottom obviously.

I've had a few in the past and they seemed to do well as long as you feed them lol. I was thinking about putting one in my IM but decided I didn't have room for him.

I really like those Christmas tree worms. Have you seen them?

  5. @Botheboss I do like the Christmas tree worms and the pretty pink coco worms too! This Hawaiian Duster seems like a nice start. I'd love to have a little grove of them.

  6. I am a little worried that the front of my nano cube is generated a bit too much water flow.

  7. I moved this guy into an eddy area and he's open and beautiful! Yay! I think he will do well in the nano... No protein skimmer and lots of feeding for the suncoral.

    Hiya,

I love Feather dusters! I have a blue encrusting one that came in on my original live rock. It has lived for threw two three tank moves and several crashes. One of the hardiest creatures I've ever had.
