If I could pull the Sailfin, I'd replace with a yellow and a blue hippo.
Is this going to be a FOWLR? Is the Klein's BF compatible with zoas? I've always drooled over the orchid dottie. I've heard they are very calm for a dottie and not likely to cause trouble. I like it! I'm anxious to see how the large shoal of chromis do. I'm sure you plan to but add the sailfin dead last. The CBB and pyramid are pretty docile and easily bullied.
Unfortunately, the damn sailfin came with the tank. He's in. Thus why I want him dead or store credit. I have added aggressively, because of this. The Klein's is allegedly safe for zoas. If not, well, the zoa's will have to find a new home, as they are the only soft coral I intend to put in this tank. Plans for corals include some variety of euphyllia, hammer most likely. Looking to add a nice colony of duncans. Would like some more acans. Bird's nest, various montis, some of the less difficult acro's, and maybe a few other easier sps. Will also continue to add the monthly coral from the club. Klein's will be the last in, unfortunately. Sadly, the wife and I both fell in love with the grace of the sailfin while he was in the 55. He was doing ok, but swimming way too many laps. We thought we might lose him if we left him in there. That was a huge mistake. If I can net him, he's gone. Too much testosterone. Besides, the wife wants a yellow and a blue hippo which can't be added until he is dead and/or gone. As for the CBB and the Pyramid, well, the @$$#O(% sailfin took a liking to the CBB after a few passes and they are buddies. The Pyramid took about two days of hazing before she threw up her spikes and fought fire with fire. The Sailfin now thinks the Pyramid is cool as well.
I've had a the hybrid cross dottie which was really docile. This orchid seems to be a very nice citizen.
That's awesome! My pyramids were so easy going my wrasse would chase them away at times. My CBB is also very mild mannered but able to defend himself. He just is so slow in his eating that he would get out competed without some help at feeding time.
Well, you know, Archie, our CBB, was a bit slow at first. Went through several different types of food until bloodworms became a favorite. He ate some calanus at first. The bloodworms got him into the mix. Now, he's discovered mysis, Rod's, and SFBC Butterfly and Angel frozen mix. He's doing quite well.
That first pic looks like those fosh are all part of a collection. Like they seem to have the same color scheme. Coordinating set. Lol
