Is this a good buy?

Says he is selling everything for 350. Only empty for about 2 months.
100 gallon 5 foot tank with stand and canopy and all equipment.
I am wanting to upgrade from a 75 but I know 100 isn't much of an upgrade. Does the extra foot make a difference?

Is it drilled or is that a hang on the back overflow? The skimmer and pumps are probably worth that price by themselves. The lights look rough, not sure I'd want those plugged in to my outlets!

i think it is a hang on the back overflow, but I have experience drilling a tank myself and have no worries about doing it as long as i can find out whether the back glass is tempered or not. I also don't think I would be using the lights. I already have two black boxes on my current 75 that are about a year old. Do you have any knowledge of this size tank? are the sides usually tempered?

Do you know what brand? I think Marineland tanks are usually only tempered on the bottom but I would not count on that. Might be able to find that info on the manufacturer's web site if you know the brand and age of the tank.

    I
Can ask him but I kind of get the feeling he got it from someone else and may not know. I'm guessing it's older by the faux wood look of the rims. I will take my polarized glasses with me when I go to look at it. Any additional things I need to look at it or ask him?
