Okay, I'm starting a tank thread for my main display. My tank will be a year old in September. I just added the RBTA a couple of weeks ago. Here are some shots.
I like the RSM tank, love the sleek look of it. I've modified mine a bit, not of necessity though. I've added a sump/refugium to the cabinet. I've also added a chiller but I could've gotten away without one but the extra pumps in the sump/refugium heated my tank a few more degrees than I preferred. I also have a Ecotech MP10 on the right side which I probably don't need since my tank only has 2 sps in it. The new RSM 400, 500 and 650s tanks look awesome. I just wish they made and LED option on them.
Really pretty! I've never seen a RSM tank in person but judging just from forums most people love them. I guess there is no exception here either.
Not sure how this will look using Tapatalk but here goes. My starry blenny has taken to sitting on my toadstool.
Here's a full tank shot taken this past weekend and a snippet video of my new yellowtail reef chromis. These are all taken with my iphone and unfortunately everything looks much bluer than it is in person.
Made my first frags today. Anyone that may be interested in some extremely hardy and stunning green zoas, send me a pm. I also have one eagle eye zoa frag not pictured. Here's a photo, though not all open yet.
Shot a short video of my tank since one of my clowns finally realized there was an anemone in it.
Changed to some different lighting, type of bulbs, and rearranged some coral. Here's a new update video.
Got a good deal on this scoly at the fish tank yesterday since it wasn't looking as healthy as it should. Hoping to nurse it back to all it's glory. Anyone else have a scolymia in their tank? Here's a photo of the one I got.
Looks great John! That nem and toadstool have really grown from looking at all your videos. That is a great looking scoly, I would be willing to bet you get it healthy and happy. I've been thinking about a Starry Blenny. Any negatives to them you've noted?
Hiya Hey where did you get the yellow tailed crom and are they nice like the blues or more like a damsel? Kim/Benton, AR
He's very nice, gets along with the others. I got him from Divers Den section of liveaquaria. They have them every now and then. I've also seen purple reef chromis offered there that look really cool, too.
