just a thought

    Not sure if im over looking it but maybe we should have a stickey for all the beginners out there for what all equipment they will need for starting a setup from testing the water all the way to water changes after the setups if we have this forgive this post
     
  2. Good idea, but there are so many ways to accomplish the same goal that I think to be helpful the recommendations would have to remain generalized. Also consider budget plays arguably the largest role in what someone may choose. As an example, suggesting someone buy a protein skimmer would probably get most to agree on its importance, but their are other ways to achieve nutrient exportation without one. I think so many methods, choices, and opinions keeps this and other "newby," questions continually brought up on this and other forums, but this is probably good for the hobby as no one way is perfect and no two reefs are alike. But again, could prove useful as a starting place.

    I understand I was just basically talking about the needs like hydrometer ro/di water test chemicals but just the general items not the whole shabang but I guess your right about that lol
