Hey Guys I am interested in becoming a member. I was just wondering if ever have meetings on any other day than Saturday. I work every weekend from 7 am to 11 pm.
We'd be glad to have you! Boy those hour's stink! I'm afraid they are nearly always on the 3rd Sat of the month. However some of the member's sometimes get together at someone's house during the week to help them out with their tanks. That would be a great way to meet some of us and have some fun too. Just let one of know if you'd like to do that, and we'll let you know when we have other activities like that. We will be at Toadsuck festival, be sure and stop by and meet some of us. I hate to hear that Bigman, I used to work on Saturdays and always missed the meetings so I transferred! New department no Saturdays!
I have done my share of weekend option, I did it for 3 years while I was in school. Of course, meeting attendance in not manditory by any means and there are lots of ways that you can benefit if nothing else by just supporting our efforts with your membership. Besides lfs discounts and special offers that we get as a club you will have access to our members forum witch provides a help line for members to contact whenever they have questions or problems with their aquariums. Wether you choose to join or not I a very glad that you have found our forum and hope that you will stay and contribute. Happy Reefing - Chris
