We added a WYSIWYG text editor to our forums about two years ago to do several things. One was to add a quick ability to add videos from YouTube and the second was to be able to add html into a text as is often needed in advertising events. The name of the editor that we currently have is called "HotEditor" made by eCardMax and it dose offer a YouTube button but its functionallity is very poor. You are not able to copy and paste into the text editor and when you do manage to get it to the format if very poor. You are supposed to be able to switch on and off html but it is not currently functional. It appears that their has been an update to HotEditor since we last installed it two years ago but I can not be certain. Their is a new WYSYWIG editor "Almsamin WYSIWYG editor V0.0.8 for phpBB3 (http://startrekguide.com/community/view ... 127&t=8803) that was designed specifically for phpbb3 and has all of the things that HotEditor had. This editor is also controlled within our forums admin panel which makes it very versatile as you can go back to the original editor that is standard with phpbb3 with the click of a button. I would like to approve the money for Georgi to add this editor to our fourm so that can have a functional editor that we can cut and paste to, write html into and easily post video. I have not spoken to Georgi but suspect that it would be about 1 hour billable, around $65.
