You should see my mess! Your tank looks a lot like mine with the center overflow. You can tell the same people that were at DSA are at Planet now.

Doc you'll have to stop by some time during a meeting or if you find yourself in cabot to see just how similar they are.

Nice I suggest a lid for something to keep your eel in. I had mine get out a few times.

Is that a captive-bred Yellow Tang from Biota?

Cool! I have just recently gotten one myself. It’s nice having a captive bred fish because, it’s happy, hardy, accustom to a captive environment and should be free of pests and diseases.

It is a great member of the tang gang here in the 180 even if it is the smallest fish in the tank it has no problem getting right up next to the giant sailfin trying to eat out of my hand during feeding time.

Just a picture to update the thread! I haven't done much with the tank besides let the corals grow.....which I need more corals but I just need the aptasia in the frag tank to go away so I can throw all my nice zoa colonies in the tank. The tang gang is doing well I think the baby yellow(Biggie) is probably the head of the gang but the are all nipping away at the rock to fight off the algae and keep the reef clean. I am a bad reef keeper if we follow the standards most follow because I have yet to check any of the water parameters besides one time when Jake stopped by and was curious and we tested P04 and it was 0.04 so just right! I am just going to stick with what is working and continue doing my weekly water changes which are 20-30 gallons depending on how lazy I am that Sunday. :D

    ****Update***
Nothing crazy to update you all on I have been running a little bit on idle due to just being busy with life. Everyone is doing great thus far I did get a copperband but that is the only new addition besides maybe a few corals from the frag system in the other room! trying to decide what to do next maybe some of you can swing me one way or the other on the next addition to the 180. 1) REFUGIUM 2)CALCIUM REACTOR 3) Just move the DOS from the 60 to the 180 until I am dosing crazy amounts of 2-part ???? thoughts or ideas??

Maybe your depend is not enough to make a noticeable difference on your test kit. I haven't done anything but water changes on the 180 and the corals....Which there isn't many are growing like crazy.
