Thought it would be good to have a thread to list some useful websites for Nano reefers. mediabaskets.com (inTank) nano-reef.com picoaquariums.com micro-reefs.com Palytoxin, did you just make that up?
Thanks for those links Shawn. That might help those of us new to nano/pico tanks. Right now I just have a sponge filter and the rest of my media basket filled with live rock ruble. It's ok but my nitrates run about 5-10 if I don't keep up with weekly 1 gallon water changes. Maybe I can learn something there to improve my little tank.
I would give chemipure elite a try. It is probably the most used and trusted media by nano owners. Palytoxin, did you just make that up?
We run filter floss and cemipure elite in all 4 of our nanos n picos. Helps keep nitrates down in ours unless something happens ie something cacs it or over feeding. Once they get established you will notice that you can skip a week safely. Till then 50% + weekly water changes are a must. Should add reef cleaners to that list, but tbh he should be on every list.
