    Hey,

Got a couple of new frags....slowly growing. I guess this is the way it is in the hard coral game.

My question is about Frogspawn...what are the little white nodes on the tentacles? This guy is adding a bunch of them and was wondering what purpose they served. I was thinking the photosynthetic part of the coral would be the green tentacle...maybe not?

Your frags look like they are coming along nicely. My monti cap has gotten big very fast. I'm trying to find a good permanant place for him in the tank.

On the frogspawn I always thought the brown was the photosynthetic part since the symbiotic zooxanthellae are brown in color, but I can't say that with any real knowledge.

My Frogspawn is covered with the brown areas, it sounds like yours is very happy in your tank.

The white nodes are one of the characteristics of frogspawn.
