Well I just hit a low in the hobby. I'm pretty sure I have ich in my 90 gallon reef ☹️

Oh no! Well ... we are in a similar boat. I just started TTM and fallow for my 85 reef. I'm not positive but have seen them all have white spots then disappear so I'm treating it all before introducing new fish to the mix.

Having a heck of a time catching my coral beauty angel though. NEED to get her in the QT today or I'll have to start my clock over ...

 

Well I went and picked up a hospital tank and ordered all the stuff to treat the fish, but all the fish died except for my Tamini Tang and the Chromis'. The treatment I ordered will be here Wednesday, so we will see if I even have any fish by then. At this rate I wont. I'm very upset and depressed about the whole situation at the moment. All I can say is at least I didn't lose all my coral as well. (silver lining)

What did you order?

 

I just ordered copper because I could find any chloroquine phosphate. Either way it's too late for most of them. The tamini is staying in the rock, not eating and rubbing his body on the reef so it's only a matter of time. The only fish that don't seem effected is the chromis' go figure!

 

Well I'm going to LR tomorrow if you want to meet up and I can bring some of the CP. not sure how fast it works. @huntindoc might have some input.

 

Well I will have 5 chromis' to treat because the tamini won't make it through the night. I don't want to waste your CP on the chromis, but thank you. If you don't mind me asking where did you get it? I would like to stock up for in the future. Moving forward I will be quarantining all fish. Lesson learned.

 

I took the advice of Doc and many people on forums to not buy from random people online and actually get an rx from a vet. Luckily we have a good relationship with our vet over the last couple decades so he had no problem writing it for me. I had him write it for 60 grams so there would be plenty for the future as well as it was cheaper to buy more. Ordered from Diamondbackdrugs online. They are a vet pharmacy that ships to you. I think it was around $80 for the 60 grams shipped.

I'm currently just doing TTM on everyone because I've heard wrasses can be sensitive to the CP but I may separate him and treat everyone else after I'm done.

Well the tang did not make it through the night last night . The chromis that I have left will be in the hospital tank tomorrow. It's going to be a long waiting game to get my display tank free of ich before I restock it.

That totally sucks!! I'll be bringing Doc's fish trap back Saturday but there was someone else wanting to use it. I still haven't caught this dang coral beauty! Stubborn fish! As soon as I do, I'm playing the waiting game on the display too. Last transfer for the TTM is Friday. Then I'll have to start over with the CBA.

 

Does anyone have a power adapter for a A1 Vega I can use for a couple weeks until my replacement comes in? One of mine had a short in the power adapter and went out. The light works when I hook up the other adapter. I already ordered one, but I'm down to one light until it arrives.
