I rip overgrown palys out of my tank quite frequently and never wash my hands. That nasty slimy goo gets all over my fingers. I will say though I've wiped my face and had a little lip tingling. It's hard to imagine any major reactions from "normal" handling. But I have also picked bristleworm spines out of my hands more times than I'de like to admit. Tank inhabitants.....BRING IT ON!!
