We got some pretty cool coral today. As yours open, take some pictures and post them up so we can see how they look in everyone's tank. Someone walked off with my Acan and Chalice today but I got replacements. My Zoa frags were two small ones from 2 different colonies. I remember putting the second frag in with the first, I didn't know it was from another colony though. I was just trying to make it about the same size as the others. One of the Zoa frags is pink. They are pretty cool looking. I'll put pictures up when the lights come on in the morning. John
I'll try to post some photos tomorrow as well. If anybody got anything from the store, I'd like to see it in your tank.
It was great meeting so many people yesterday! This is a new passion for me, and I started small with a 28g cube. I hear that for a newbie, it may be more challenging to keep the fluctuations at a minimum. I'm going to give it my best though! Any advice is greatly welcome. Here are my happy frags acclimating well. Zoa, favia, and acan. It's going to take me a week to commit to a place to glue them! In the background are the mushroom coral. Haha. I didn't have any tulle or mesh...so fishnet stockings did the trick.
Looks great Natalie! Wish my sandbed was that clean! Beautiful pics as usual Allan. Is the other zoa an Eagle Eye, John?
Hiya, Natalie, those mushrooms should be a teal and red, at least they are in my tank. Kim/Benton, AR
Very cool Kim!! I can't wait to see them in place! I was so eager to get them into the tank (fear of killing them during transport) that I acclimated and placed them before turning the lights on to really see them. I can't wait to see them out of the mesh and onto the rocks in full glory! Thank you for providing them! An awesome item for raffle!
