Hey! Thought I’d start a thread for coral frag BST for the upcoming event. I know the store will be having a lot of cool stuff for the event but I also know that a lot of folks are always shopping in other reefers’ tanks! Lol Just post things you have for trade or sale and we can spread the coral love! I’m assuming it’s ok to set this up officially ... let me know if it’s not.
Hiya, You beat me to it! The event will be November 18th at The Fish Bowl in Searcy. Jack has always been good to us. He usually runs a coral sale for us and brings in fish at more then reasonable prices. The menu at this event is always chili. I'll be making a beanless chili so we'll need at least one or two other's to step up and make chili. We'll need folks to bring other items to to compliment chili as well as all the regular stuff to serve food. We'll let everyone know what corals will be available to choose from as soon as we've picked them out. Usually this is closer to the event.
Actually I set this thread up as a BST thread to swap corals ... I think someone else made the actual meeting planning thread. Probably good to keep all of the planning on one thread for less confusion.
I think it would be a great idea to have an on-going thread for BST of corals in the BST area. I am always looking to diversify my tanks and I personally find that nurturing a frag into a showpiece is more rewarding than buying a larger coral outright.
You can always add posts but I think a group swap post might be cool ... to trade with multiple people and see everything at once.
