I got 3 corals from the Reef splash group buy and have a question about one. This was sold as a Ricordia but it looks like a star polyp to me?

This is the torch I got. The sorry cell phone picture doesn't do it justice. Looks great in person.

    This is a Zoa....it's a huge colony.

This is the leather from the frag workshop. It's kind of pale and droopy but polyp extension is good. Is it ok?

This is the green acro from the frag workshop. It's really green in person.

That does look like star polyps. They must have labeled the bag incorrectly. The leather looks fine. Sometimes they need a little bit of time to recover.

Thanks Jason. The water with the leather smelled pretty bad when I got home Sat. It is looking better tonight.

I also think your torch is actually a frogspawn. The two are in the same euphyllia family but a torch has single tips and a frogspawn usually has multiple tips on each tentacle.

It definitely has branches to most of the individual tentacles. I'm ok with that. Thanks Uperepik
