Just an inch or less. I don't think the star was in bad health. I got him last Friday and acclimated for 3 hours and he was eating fine and moving around the tank from cave to cave. i did have to adjust my salinity on Sunday after an RO reservoir issue that dropped my salinity from 1.025 to 1.023 but that doesn't seem like that would off him.

I have a blue leg. I hope he's not a murderer too! Lol

Quick question regarding the salinity change. Inevitably I always forget to unplug the ATO when changing water on the QT. By the time I realize, it's dumped quite a bit of water. Is it best to immediately bring back up with the water change (within minutes say 15 minutes.. mixing stronger water and testing as I go) or to bring it up a little and then bring it back up over time?

I know they can handle going down better than up but does the short amount of time matter or is it just as hard or harder on them going right back up?
