SPS Test

Would anyone out there happen to have any donor sps frags, browned out, have too many or just sticks off the bottom of their tank that they might be willing to donate?

I am in the process of starting back up my big tank after a couple years of being out of the hobby and think I have it on the right track to test some SPS but I dont want to spend a fortune on test subjects.

Free frags huh? Yeah that would be nice. Lol Where do you live and are you planning on coming to a meeting?

 

Yeah. I don’t know you nor do you I however, I have been a member of this club on and off for the better part of 13 years. I have threads on here of tanks, builds, advise and just casual conversation. Before you go about accusing someone of just wanting free frags I might let you in on how I have hosted meetings, invited people over, given away countless frags for free and let anyone in this club that was curious come by my place to tour my tank. I have attended many of meetings helped at events and done a lot more for this club.

Now, that we have that out of the way and before you begin to try and belittle someone on this forum for asking for a donor frag maybe you might want to help out, encourage or lead someone to actually want to be in this club again instead of pushing them away by such a comment.

Do you have anything else you might like to add. I could show you pictures that are actually on google maps when the google guy drive by and we were having an outfldoor meeting at my place... or would that make any more the difference?

 

If you somehow thought I was trying to belittle you that was not at all my intention. I was just poking fun but you are right you don’t know me and I don’t know you. So if you are offended be my comment I’m sorry, that’s just my personality. I’m not trying to push anyone away. I was asking if you where coming to a meeting or where you lived because I just might have some frag laying around.

 

I am afraid your comment could be taken multiple ways and if I took it other than you ment it, my appolgies as well. I havent been keeping up with meeting locationd or date because of working on Saturdays. I would like to attend one soon though, I don’t know if half of the people I once knew are even active members anymore.

The wife and I reside in Sherwood. I am working on getting my 250 back up to par. It has been a softie tank for years now just set on easy mode. I have pruned it all back to nothing now and setting it up to run SPS like it was built for. I have just been trying to acquire cheap frags for now for trials before spending 40 plus on frags.

 

Just to step in for Bo, I can assure you he didn’t mean anything bad with his comment but it seems you took it completely wrong. He’s a great guy and rather generous. Just felt the need to say something because I was completely shocked at your response to his comment. :-/

 

I think we are good. I have read his comment five or six times and with different outlooks it can be completely harmless and nice. I have apologized as did he for the confusion. It was a misunderstanding. Text isn't always the best way to portray expression.

 

We would love to have you at the next meeting if you can get off of work.

 

Its nothing spectacular at the moment! It will take some time to get it back lined out to what it was a few years ago but its on its way. We are going to try to make it to this one. It would be nice to catch up and meet some new people that are out there. I dont get to talk reefing with many people anymore. LOL
