Thanks so much for Duane for hosting our June meeting in his most Awesome home; not to mention the build your own pizza from the outdoor pizza oven. I know some of you think why should I drive to Ft. Smith, Hot Springs, etc. for a meeting and I will tell you; RRMAS is a club where we share our homes, food, fellowship, fun and most important knowledge. Duane has some amazing tanks, did I mention large. All in all I am guessing Duane has close to 1400 gallons, or will have once his last tank is filled. Some of these tanks are hard plumbed to a tank room where he mixes and pumps the new water directly into his tanks. He has Nano's all the way up to 500+ gallon tanks. He uses LED's as well as conventional lighting and he provided a very insightful presentation on Bio Pellets. The visit up to FT. Smith was well worth the drive. I should also mention his house left me gasping but I am not going into details, guess you should have made the drive.
I'll second that! Amazing home, great presentation, and like Greg said, 2-540 gallon tanks, a queen trigger as big as a briefcase, and several other tanks and fish. And then you throw in the 10' tall bear fossil!!!! Wow!!! If you didn't make it this time, I wouldn't miss it next time! @ConwayCorals subscribe for the latest updates!
I'm sick that I couldn't make it. Especially since I'm debating on whether or not to start bio pellets. On the bright side, I did get my ac fixed.
