Those grennel are fun to catch! I don't know why they don't call them a sport fish as hard as they fight....

We used to have a culvert in the woods where I grew up. Every year the water would rise in the river and force all of the grennel to school up there. You could throw anything in the water and they would bite. We would get there at daylight and catch them till the mesquitos carried us away at night. Ahhh childhood memories. Fun fish to catch. I would prefer catching them to any other fish I have caught.

I like sushi too, but I ain't eating any ditch fish! I'm not Andrew Zimmern and this is not a third world country.
Not a big fan of raw meat, sllghtly bloody steak I can do, but not even seared fish? Not for me Oh, and I've tried escargot before as well, (gotta try everything once right?) a lot like snot with breading. Very chewy snot....
