I picked up this Sun coral on Saturday from Pet Country. Chris and I were up helping Norman and stopped by to talk about Toad Suck, and I spotted this little guy... This was just before I fed it mysis:

It was looking a little sad, and Lisa said it was not getting the attention it needed because of a new pair of clowns they added to the tank. So I just had to take it home [IMG]

Very nice! Knowing you, you'll take good care of it too. They are beautiful corals, I've been temped to get one-maybe one of these days :)

Apparently I picked the perfect place for it because the fish in the 55gal do not bother it while it is eating and when I feed the fish the water flow carries it a little bit of extra food.

Also, I am feeding it mysis two times everyother day. I plan on mixing in a little cyclopeez as well.

April said it is so colorful that it looks fake [IMG]

Those really are pretty corals, I have never seen one in person but you can tell by the pic it is really bright. Hope it grows big for you.

congrats on the sun coral blake, they are one of my favorites. I bought one about 6 months ago and i feed it brine shrimp and cyclopeeze 2-3 times a week. I cut the top off of a 2 liter coke bottle, this way you can feed the coral and not all the envious fish [IMG] it cuts down on the flow and gives it time to eat it's fill. enjoy!
