ATO for Pico tank?

I have my IM Nuvo 4 cycling right now. NH3 down to 0.25 from a high of 3!

My tank evaporates about 1 cup off water a day which doesn't sound like much but it lowers the level in the return pump chamber almost down to the top of the pump. Is there an ATO appropriate for a tank this size. I can imagine salinity swings could get significant in a hurry with a tank this small. I only plan to keep Zoa's and maybe a plate coral since I'm so new at this.

Lastly, is there any fish that could be kept in a tank this small? Maybe a Yasha's Goby and pistol shrimp combo?

Doc, there are a number of small fish that would go in you Pico system. Neon goby, yellow stripe goby, firefish, tanaka's pygmy wrasse, court jester goby, citron gobies, hector's goby, etc. Just do your research for nano tank fish, there should be a number of fish to choose from. If you have any questions about compatibility give me a call.

Tunze makes a nano ATO. I have one on my 16g.

Thanks Norman, I had done some research but no one mentioned a tank this tiny. Just didn't want to subject a fish to an environment that was too small.

Hope that will work for me. Is the bracket for the switch smaller than on the regular Tunze? I'm using the regular Tunze on my DT but the return chamber on the Nano is so small the bracket will have to be quite a bit smaller to fit. Thanks a lot John!

Yes, it's smaller, and it will shut off after a certain time once flow starts which is a nice feature. Neither of my Tunze ATO have ever failed though.

I have a tunze nano osmolator as well. It works great.
