OK I am changing from conditioned tap water to RODI water do I need to add PH adjustor or anything to the RODI water to make up for what is filtered out?

No, your salt mix will take care of pH for you

So far the water is clearer but my PH dropped. I have never had a PH problem until I added the RODI water. I have to get a big tank to hold the waste water. Didn't really need it on the flowers with all of the rain we have had lately so most of it got wasted.

As long as your ph is within the normal range, I wouldn't worry about trying to chase a "perfect" number. I honestly don't test mine that often, but mine usually runs on the lower end.

pH is probably the least important parameter people follow IMO. It's a simple equation with the CO2 level in your room. The only reasons I monitor it are 1) the probe was included with my Apex and it is useful to monitor my alkalinity doser (email alert if pH > 8.4). Also have an alert if pH is < 7.5 (usually means the water level in my return section is below the probe).
