After a little tinkering and a little trial and error, we finally sealed the calcium reactor. It is no up and running for its cycle period. Will give it a week or two before I put the CO2 on it but I am glad we have that part of the system complete. Still no sign of the chiller kicking on. Tank did reach 79 the other day, thats the highest I have seen it since the AC unit was added. We are in the process of finishing up the outside of the room so, soon enough it will be sealed enough to not let much air escape and these 100 degree summer days will be cool in side the fish room. Overall, everything is progressing. Looking to add a lot more cheato to the fuge, the little bit I could scrape up from what was left isnt enough to really transport nutrients so I look forward to getting a big clump soon. Still not in the SPS range, Nitrates are a tad high, other levels are pretty steady. Its all a matter of time now, and patients.
My Frag tank is getting full, few more change and I will have a lot of these going into the main display. Meanwhile, after three weeks of Vinegar dosing I am getting a good rich thick skimmate, I am hoping to see my nutrient levels to start falling by next weeks ramp up. Got the old T5 fixture replaced with a new one.... Man from a lowes 65k single outdoor flood bulb to this thing, this thing will blind you!! I didnt realize how dim the light that I had on there was and why my Cheato wasnt growing very fast. Now with this, I cant wait to see how fast this thing goes wild, I did find some xenia and added it to the back left side basket in hopes to just cover everything back there with it, empty the right side basket of all rock and keep it just for a Cheato ball.
