Hey Brad, Thanks for checking in. I did add a pearly jawfish which managed to jump out of a nickel size hole in the glass cover to it's demise. I've since made a screen cover for it. Added a few zoas and a couple of chalice corals. Here's an photo from tonight.

How was the meeting. I hated to miss it, especially for that debacle of a Razorback game I went to.

    Hiya,

Tank looks great. Hate that you lost the pearly jawfish. I'd love to put one in my new tank...when I get started on it.

Thanks Kim. I hope to try another one, but won't be adding another fish until after I'm back from MACNA.

My combtooth blenny and clownfish have become best buds.

I like those barnacle shells. Would like to get some for my tank. The Blennys really love them. Great shot of the buddies.

I love barnacle clusters. I ordered a couple medium and large pieces from a collector in Florida who sells all kinds of seashells etc... They make awesome frag racks :)

I added a tiger shrimp and yellow lined goby pair to my tank today. The shrimp is totally rescaping the tank. I've had to dig out a few corals more than once already. Here's quick little video.

    Hiya,

Nice! My shrimp has made a mess out of my tank too, but I love the little stinker.

As some of you already know. I'm upgrading this system for a couple of reasons. One being that I want it out of my kitchen, the novelty wore off. Another being that I find it more difficult to clean. Every time I put my hand in the tank, the water level gets close to overflowing and nano mags just aren't as good as the larger ones and if you have any rock in the tank, scraping is a chore without rearranging. I'd always heard that parameters were difficult to maintain but I found that was one of the easier things to do. And a third being that your corals outgrow it, quickly. I'm upgrading it to a 50g Cadlights rimless with an 18g sump. I'll start another thread for that one. Hope to have this done over the next few weeks. Thanks for following along.

Looking forward to the build. That tank has some great looking corals in it. The 50 ought to be awesome!
