This looks like an appro place to post this notice. Mods let me know if this is okay.

Also, I realize Houston may be a stretch at a 4-1/2+ hour drive, but many members probably
have family and friends this way, and/or would really appreciate hearing John Coppolino,
Matt Perdersen, and/or Bob Fenner speak, plus we have some A+ class vendors. Seeing premium
livestock in-person will always trump WYSIWYG web pics :) I've driven 5 hours annually for other
reef conferences and it has always been worth it.

Okay, here is what's happening: the Houston MASNA affiliated club (Marine Aquarium and Reef
Society Houston, MARSH) in conjunction with Steve Tyree's Coral Farmers' Market (CFM) has
organized a one day reef conference called Reef Currents.

See reefcurrents.org to BUY your ticket and for more details. See below:

    A. Ticket prices are $35 through Feb 20th online. After Feb 20th,
there will be no online sales, but tickets are $45 at the door.
Just the vendor hall only is $15 whenever.

    B. When: Saturday February 22, 2014 from ~8am to 6pm.

    C. Where: Sheraton IAH next to Houston's International Airport
(Special rates: $99 single, $119 double, $129 club)

    C. What: Speaking conference, vendor marketplace, MARSH raffle, and Tyree coral auction

-----1. Three speakers: John Coppolino, Bob Fenner, and Matt Pedersen
    ---------- Topics: http://www.reefcurrents.org/speakers/
    -----2. Steve Tyree in-person (reeffarmers.com)
    -----3. Steve Tyree coral auction
-----4. MARSH club raffle, tickets sold separately.
    ---------- Items: http://www.reefcurrents.org/raffle-list/
-----5. Fourteen other vendors reasonably confirmed.
    ----------a. 3CC a.k.a. Third Coast Corals
----------b. Building an Obsession a.k.a BAO
----------c. Fish Just Wonderful a.k.a FJW
    ----------d. Hi-Def Corals
    ----------e. Zoanthids.com
    ----------f. Gonzos Coral Frags
    ----------g. ReefKoi Corals/Evolution LED
    ----------h. Boston Aqua Farms
    ----------i. RAP-Orlando
    ----------j. The Coral Shop
    ----------k. World Wide Corals
    ----------l. The Ijam Coral Company
----------m. Blue Water Tropicals (Reef Raft USA has cancelled)
    ----------n. Addicting Corals
    ----------o. Reef Farmers (Tyree's company)

Note: We are a 501c(7), MASNA member club that hosted MACNA a few years back.

Some vendors are offering to bring pre-orders - FREE shipping and avoidance of
shipping accidents and hassles. Contact vendors for details. You'll still need a vendor
hall ticket, in the least, to pick up at the show.

EDIT II: ONLINE full passes purchases extended until Feb 20th for $35. Some vendors
    talking pre-orders.

EDIT III: Added links to speaker topics & raffle items

    EDIT III: Updated vendor list

Oh do you remember reading about Sea & Reef resurrecting the C-quest clownfish line:

    http://reefbuilders....aris-clownfish/

Well, one of our vendors: FJW is bringing a complete line of Sea & Reef clownfish for purchase &
for their own raffle. I don't know how many total clownfish are being raffled off, one or more?

ALSO: Thursday 11:59 pm online sales end for full passes at $35. Otherwise available at the door for $45.
Wouldn't you rather save that money for the raffle? Vendor hall still $15 at the door.
