SPS grow out

    Yesterday I cut a piece of Scripps Acro and suspended it on fishing line. Now we watch. [​IMG][​IMG]

    Be interesting to see the morphology it grows in to. I know they do this with mariculture....how do they attach the new colonies to the reef when they're ready?

    They use 2 part epoxy puddy to attach it to the live rock.

    Almost at the 3 month mark. Any updates on it?

    There is a noticeable color change but very little growth.

    That is cool to see that guy take off. How awesome would it be to see that little sliver turn in to a 10-12 inch colony! This is what really gets me enthused about the hobby.
