Let me start off by saying seasons greetings and wish you all a happy holiday season. Sorry, I have not been active on here for a while. The reef keeping hobby has been busy.

For your update, Worlds Under Water is under new ownership and has been since January 1st of 2012.

We have many new additions, including our new owner and reef enthusiast Brandon Bell. He was the very first employee ever at our store and has kept his passion for the hobby and it shows.

This is our main coral tank. It is a 48x48x12, rimless, Starfire, Island with look down viewers. It is lit by 4 EchoTech radions and filtered by a Reef Octopuss Cone skimmer.

Our display. RedSea 650 S (no upgrades or add ons)

Rules of the display. If it swims or if it's glued, it's not for sale. Exception to the rule includes a 13 inch green tongue coral.
The rock structure was a custom build by yours truly that is held up by a PVC substructure.

Thanks for all you well wishes.

Our biggest issue right now is when customers start coming in the door, there is little room to move around. We pack the place seems like everyday. Starting to look for a new location with more floor space. We want to be able to stock more dry tanks, dry goods, and have a shop for special projects.

We have got some amazing orders coming in in the next two weeks. Please check out our Facebook page and pay us a visit next time your in town.
    Thanks and Happy New Year!
    Bobby

Bobby, Can you also put pics or a list of items coming in on an order up on this site along with facebook? Pics may help make some of us from down south come up and check you out.

Extremely true! The store looks fantastic! The tanks are decorated, livestock is healthy, selection is varied, and the place is clean. The new owner, Brandon, and his gang have done a wonderful job of improving the place. Good job, guys!

I'll try to answer your price questions. My duties at the store have changed as much as the store has. I don't do pricing anymore. Due to the volume of product moving through the store, prices are usually cheaper than I think. Also, we love doing volume discounts. So the more you buy the cheaper you can get some items. This also forgoes any club discounts we used to do. If you tell us you are part of a club, we usually take off 10% of normal price before we ring you up. This saves you the extra sales tax.

Our next step is going to be ADA tanks.

The dealership is pricy and every time we are about to take that step we blow our funds on coral. lol Or, pay our sales tax.

If your looking for a AGE aquarium call and Brandon will look in to it.

We still like the DeepSea Starfire tanks. Just sold a 225. Delivered it Monday. Beautiful tank! PVC bottom.

This is a great place. I was on my way back from a funeral in Tulsa and swung by. I was told it was closed by 7:00 p.m. by a local, so I was able to get into town around 6:20-6:30 to find out it was closed at 6:00 p.m. However, they were still there and let me in to shop! Very nice! Great selection on corals, even for being the last to pick his coral patch at the end of the day. I picked up some very nice frags. If I wasn't heading back to my parents place for the night and straight to my place in Little rock, I'd have bought tons more stuff. Definitely a good place to stop by and very friendly too. Keep those photos updated and you'll see me swing by more often or if you ever ship that would be great too!

Graciesdad I am always thinking of getting back into it. When I do my tank will be about 300- 400 gallon I am thinking. Maybe bigger! I will not have all of the equipment in the garage this time due to heat issues. Contemplating to do more of a cube, so I can put a large sump in the bottom of the stand. I still have my large calcium reactor for the corals, but will have to look into new skimmers. I already know I will be using Radion LEDs. I am starting to get the salt water bug again. If I do my wallet will feel the pain!

Bobby are the Deep Sea tanks good? Is there a link to their site. Can you pm me some ballpark prices for the 225 you sold and larger?

What does ADA stand for in ADA tanks?

IMO tanks built in Dallas by the original Oceanic team are still some of the best made. They certainly have the expertise.

ADA stands for Aqua Design Amano. The are the leader in Sm to Md rimless tanks and freshwater plant supplies.

As I said before my duties have completely changed around the store. I'll have to get with Brandon on the tank prices. I'll pm you on Monday.
