I was trying to remove an anemone last night and didn't notice that there were two of them on the rock I picked up and I ripped one in half. They both seem to be doing o.k. for now. My question is what do ya'll think the survival rate is when somthing like this is to happen to a green bubble tip anemone. If they were to survive I would have 6 anemones.

By looking at the picture it looks like its doing fine. Some people (I have read) propagate these as they do mushrooms.

I've read a little about cutting them in half but I ripped it into instead of using a sharp razorblade. I'll continue to post the progress of them as time goes on.

Here is an update on them. Its been two days since they were ripped into. The reason I was removing them was to sell one to somebody that had all ready asked for one but they will need to heal up before I'll sell any. I still have three that are not damaged and seem to split often. When I get to many I'll post them for sale.

Well its been 3 months and they are doing fine and healed up pretty good. So good that I don't know which ones that I ripped in half. Here are some pics of them now.
