Another Springfield Trip to SEAS & Planet Coral

I am in Springfield this weekend for work and called up David Montgomery (pres. of SEAS) who was kind enough to accept my self invite for dinner and some reef talk. I stopped by Planet Coral prior to dinner and was a bit taken back by how things were having just been their in April. The store has gone through some radical changes in just three months with a complete lighting change from T5's to 250w MH over their shallow display tank - it is too soon to tell the effect of such a drastic change. I purchased several fish for my 180g and several coral but have to say that I am in hopes that the store will return to its splendor of only 3 months ago. David and the other Seas members were very hospitable treating me to a full coarse steak dinner and afterward we descended to his basement to view his reef tank that was fairly new but was already showing great coral growth. I was encouraged by his use of T'5s on his reef and my decision to go to them for my 180. Below are the pictures that I took, David has some really nice special addition corals.
