Has anyone else been surprised by their Blue Ridge Frag? On the second day mine started to have many small white polyps come out of it. I wasn't expecting that since I didn't see any of those at the store. It has so many polyps now it looks more white then anything else, as if it has hundreds of small feather dusters on it.

Mine also already has a good layer of new growth. Does anyone know what the growth rate is for one of these. I might have issues keeping my calcium up with all these new corals.

In most tanks the growth rate is fairly slow due to the need of iron for the production of the skeleton and lack ther of in most tanks. The tissue regrowth is usually pretty quick.

  4. Keep and eye on it - it can really become prolific.
