Hey guys! I am new here and about a month into Saltwater Aquaria. I have a question. I lost a Camel Shrimp. The last time I saw Him before death, he was fixing to wipe his feet off on my Juvenile Bubble tip anemone. Is it possible for the bubble tip to have stung him?[IMG]

    Welcome!
It could have ate him. What gave you been feeding your bubble?

I have been feeding him Jumbo freeze dried krill. I was not actualy missing a shrimp. I found the shrimp paralized on the bottom with ?heart?still pumping. Hours later DEAD![IMG]

  4. I must say that I would not be surprised by an anemone being accused of eating anything. I hosted my carpet with 3 clarkii clowns about 3 months ago. I did some shuffling of the rock about a week ago and he decided to eat one, which I witnessed. I have watched the clowns climb down the anemone's mouth in the past hiding for various reasons with no ill effects. Perhaps is was stress that led him to decide to eat him - I can't imagine what was different this time than any other. Perhaps Sigfred and Roy could answer that question for me. [IMG]

Man that is wild! I have a bubbletip and a false percula. They have been in the same tank for about 3 months. The clown will not go to it. Any ideas on geting them to relate.

Is he trying to host in a toadstool of something else? If so move it or your anemone closer to where the clown sleeps at night. This is what I did. The next morning they were hosting in the anemone. It may take more time than one night but I think that will work.
