cheap filter socks

At first glance the filters look good and have a variety of material, the only problem I see is you have a minimum of 25 or so for your order. That's ok if you want to orchestrate an order for the masses or just hoarde a lifetime supply (I lean toward the lifetime supply, myself).

 

The first thing that I noticed was that they have metal rings. Don't know how long it will take to start rusting.

Bulk reef supply have felt bags and are not as cheap as above web site but are the next cheapest.

 

Maybe we need to do a group buy and distribute and collect money at the next meeting. We just need to figure out who's gonna pay for them now. I wouldn't mind having 5 or 10 myself.

 

Now that I see they have plastic rings as well I might just order me 25 or so thats a two year supply for me.

I wish I had seen this about two weeks ago. I ordered 25 10 micron filters from that same company. I ordered 10 micron due to a liquid phosphate remover I am about to try. It is supposed to really remove phosphates from your system. Its a good company to do business with I feel or at least my experience.

Just seen this post and wanted to say that I ordered 25 last month. They are a little longer then the ones at NSA, but It figured to be about 1.65 per sock. Thats about 8.00 dollars less then the LFS around here.
